    The Weight of the World
Thank you for posting this. My son committed suicide a few years ago and I never stop asking myself what I could have done differently to prevent it. I hope this helps other mothers avoid that pain

    School at Home
Hi! Welcome to Massachusetts. There are many support groups in the Lowell-Dracut area that you may find helpful. I'll give you a couple of links. MHLA 's website is informative and lists support groups: Mass HOPE also has links to support groups: and Friends of Grace is a group that many of my friends are members of: . Unfortunately, I am not involved in any homeschool groups. When I first started homeschooling, there weren't any in my area.I never really got involved with one later. Also, my schedule is a bit overwhelming with many doctor's and physical therapy appointments each week for my youngest two sons. It makes it hard to have extra free time. I would urge you to check out some of these links and find a group nearby. I hope this helps! ~Sue

When Stress Gets the Best of Us
Little did I know, readers, that while I was writing this my friend, and mom of two girls 9 and 14, took her own life. This post takes on a whole new meaning to me. Please get help if you are stressed or depressed. Your friends and family do care.

    Look out Boston!
As the president of your fan club (haha), I think this is an amazing opportunity and am proud of you for taking it. In the end, if you decide it is not for you, or the family as a whole, you can leave. If you had not accepted it you would have lived with the millions of what-ifs and potentially regret. And, so far so good! ;)

Rare Disease Day – February 28
Here's a link to the Undiagnosed Diseases Program at the NIH. The program has now been expanded to other locations around the country making it easier for families to access the program. Boston is now participating with the NIH at Harvard Medical School.

Do you love being a mom?
Why I love being a Mom: It's the hardest and most rewarding job I will ever have. Nothing beats having Zoe look up at me and say "I love you Mommy." It's amazing to be able to teach a little one and watch them grow.
