Turkey Coma and Other Wonderful Things

Welcome back to the land of long work weeks, crowds everywhere you go, and standing in line for an hour while the lady right in front of you gets the very last must have gadget that would have been the perfect gift for your husband or child. At 80% off.

And good luck getting “Jingle Bells” out of your head.  And while we’re at it, when’s someone going to walk us out of the house blind folded where there’s a silver Lexus in the driveway with a huge red bow around it?

Merrimack Valley Moms hopes everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  And in the true spirit of the holidays, we thought we’d share a few things we’re thankful for.  Red Lexus not included.

Amy Dienta:  I am thankful for my loving husband and my wonderful son.  And Moussa’s swim teacher’s who has patience.

Meredith McKay:  I am so thankful for my daughter and family being in good health.  I need to remind myself of this more often because you never seem to really appreciate good health, until it’s in jeopardy.  I’m also thankful for investing in a 4 inch memory foam mattress topper – I love sleeping and this makes my bed feel so much more cloud like!

Sabina Chen:  I’m thankful for my son, Milo, who has brought me more joy than I could have imagined.  And Guinness and other dark beers, which help me lactate.  (One of those dirty little secrets about breastfeeding!)

Tiffany MacKay:  Health and happiness of my family and my DVR, without which I would never be able to watch a TV show.

Check back soon for a great new post from Meredith, and a few surprise special guests!  Here’s a hint:  Why do the moms get to do all the posting?
